What does the future hold?
This summer I will continue to raise money for my integrated work project through a Go Fund Me account. I have also formed relationships with multiple businesses in the New York City / New Jersey area that are willing to promote my project as well as sell the goods that I receive from Tambacounda. At Christchurch School, I am currently working with Ms. Allen to create a mixer on campus. The profits that I receive from the mixer will go towards Ngonani.
What can you do?
Since cultural immersion is a major part of the Christchurch community, you can help me by spreading awareness about Ngonani and my initiatives. In order to maintain and grow Christchurch's relationship with Ngonani we must spread the culture of Senegal through education and philanthropy. Through education you will be able to break the preconceived notions about West Africa.
