Welcome to Ngognani
Senegal is a vibrant country located on the most western point of West Africa. Its festive and meaningful culture is transformative. Ngognani, a small village in Tamabacounda, is a true representation of the strength, beauty, and culture of Senegal. My objective is to spread awareness and help the people in Ngognani receive the support to enhance their school and life .
Give Back to Senegal
The Baobob tree is a major symbol in Senegal. The Baobab tree can live up to 1275 years and holds a tremendous amount of history. People in Ngognani use the tree as a way of remembering their ancestors and keeping their culture alive.
Support.
Give back.
Family
Hi, my name is Britney Peart and I am from East Orange, New Jersey. I am a rising junior at Christchurch School. In November 2016, I traveled to Senegal where I spent a lot of time learning and living with the people of Ngonani. My experience in Senegal inspired me to create a system in which people can give back to the people who inspired me.
